Dr. Fadhel Ghannouchi is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Software Engineering, and he is a Tier I Canada Research Chair/iCORE Professor in Intelligent RF Radio Technology. His research primarily focuses on innovative technological solutions for broadband and green software-defined radio systems. Dr. Ghannouchi’s research focuses on the development of space electronics for satellite and deep space communications, T/R modules for satellite communications and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) applications, and RF links for UAV applications. Additionally, it involves the development of inter-satellite links using laser communications, and AI signal processing techniques for satellite radio communications.
