Permit Types

Annual Permits

Annual permits for assigned lots are sold on a yearly basis. Prices vary by location, see  for current costs. The average wait time varies dramatically by lot. It can be as short as three months or as long as ten years. Ask us about options for faster moving lots.

To apply for an annual (12 month) parking permit, you will most likely need to join a waiting list.

If you are an undergraduate student you may want to consider semester parking, as a space in an annual lot may not become available during your studies.

Annual Hybrid Parking Permit

In support of The Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ’s Hybrid Work Program, Parking and Transportation will be providing an option for an annual hybrid parking permit for employees who would like to continue parking on campus during their three-day work week.

How it works:

  • Employees must submit a request for a hybrid permit and must have a current permit for the lot they are in. If an employee does not have a current lot assignment they can request a specific lot, subject to availability. The hybrid parking pass will not impact parking seniority.
  • Employee must designate their three days of use when the permit is requested, these days cannot fluctuate on a week-to-week basis. If the three designated days need to be altered before the permit renewal date the employee will incur a $30.00+GST replacement fee and must obtain manager/supervisor authorization for the change. Additional parking needed outside the declared days will require the employee to park in a pay lot and pay the posted fee.
  • Twenty-five per cent (25%) discount will be applied to annual parking permit rates. Ex: $92.63 plus GST as opposed to current rate of $123.50 + GST – view parking rates
  • Payment can be made monthly via payroll deduction or full up-front cost to the permit expiry can be charged to credit card.

Semester Permits

Art Parkade, McMahon Stadium and Lot 10 are sold out. Contact Campus Service Centre to be added to the waitlist.

These permits are sold only to Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà students, staff or faculty. Proof of university affiliation will be required before purchase.

*Lot 10 Student is only available to UCalgary students.  This permit includes parking in Lot 10 and McMahon Stadium.

McMahon Stadium East - Monthly Permit

This is a virtual permit; no physical permit will be issued. Please ensure that the license plate you reference is correct. 

Refund Policy: If you cancel your permit by the 15th of the month, you will receive a refund for half of that month. Cancellations made after the 15th will not be eligible for a refund.

Important Notice

  • During Stampeders home games, East McMahon permit holders MUST vacate the lot by 5 p.m. on weekdays and by noon on weekends.
  • No overnight parking
