The 2021 ����ɫ�� United Way Campaign provides an opportunity for the UCalgary community to connect with each other and support the greater Calgary community.

Together, we can make an impact and improve local lives through fun events and creative initiatives taking place now across campus.

Jessica O’Connell, manager of experiential learning at the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, and United Way cabinet member, said she’s excited for the hosted by the Taylor Institute.

“The generosity of our network was truly outstanding in offering this prize, and we are excited to spread this opportunity across campus for someone lucky to win,” says O’Connell, adding that working on the United Way Campaign has given her an amazing opportunity to connect with new UCalgary colleagues and friends.

Send a Givin’ Thanks Star

Send a Givin’ Thanks Star to a co-worker to show your appreciation for the work they do. You can send unlimited Givin’ Thanks stars to your co-workers for a minimum donation of $20. Just log in to the Givin’ Thanks page on ����ɫ�� United Way donation portal using your university email address. From there, select a minimum $20 donation and at 9 a.m. the following Tuesday or Thursday, you’ll get your link to send Givin’ Thanks messages by email.

Give an individual gift

Sign up for a pay-roll donation or give a one-time gift to the 2021 United Way Campaign. When you increase your gift this year, the growth portion of your gift will be matched automatically, improving even more local lives and ensuring kids, families and individuals have access to support when they need it most.
