Sane du Plessis
Sané is currently completing an MSc degree in the department of Neuroscience at the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. For her research project, Sané will be exploring the application of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) treatment to the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex in patients with persistent post-concussion syndrome. She will also be looking at how functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) can be used as a biomarker of response for patients with persistent post-concussion syndrome treated with rTMS.
