Undergraduate
BSW | The Faculty of Social Work offers an undergraduate program, accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Social Work, leading to the BSW degree. In addition to the programs at the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà campus, there are programs offered in Edmonton, Lethbridge and in several rural, remote and Aboriginal communities. Students can study for the degree on a full-time or part-time basis. However, students in Calgary, Edmonton or Lethbridge must be registered full time when they enroll in the final field practicum, Social Work 408/409. There are five admission/program routes that are described in the section entitled "BSW Routes." |
Minor in Social Work | The Minor in Social Work is no longer offered. Students approved for the Minor prior to September 2003 should seek advice regarding completion from the Student Services Office of the Faculty of Social Work. |
Graduate
Master of Social Work | The Faculty offers a Master's program, accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Social Work, leading to the MSW degree. Details may be found in the Faculty of Graduate Studies calendar. |
Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work | The Faculty offers a doctoral program leading to the PhD degree. Details may be found in the Faculty of Graduate Studies calendar. |
Post Master's Diploma in Advanced Studies in Social Work | The Faculty offers a course-based Post-Master's Diploma in Advanced Studies in Social Work aimed at providing the advanced research skills and knowledge required to meet the changing needs of the social work profession.
