Outstanding Achievement Awards

General Information and Policies

Outstanding Achievement Awards (including Chancellor’s Club Scholarships) are available to students entering their first year of post-secondary studies who will be admitted to the U of C on the basis of their high school grades.

Chancellor’s Club Scholarship recipients must be registered in a minimum course load of five half courses/15 units per term for both Fall and Winter. Chancellor’s Club Scholarships are renewable in the second, third and fourth year conditional on the achievement of a minimum grade point average of 3.50 on five half courses/15 units per term for both Fall and Winter. Spring and/or Summer courses cannot be used to reduce course-load requirements, nor will grades from these courses be used in calculating the grade point average required for renewal. Chancellor’s Club Scholarship recipients entering the U of C in a General Arts faculty or in the Faculty of Science must remain so registered to be considered for renewal.
