Notes:
This course is double-numbered with English 598 (which will have separate and less strenuous student expectations). Though 598 and 698 may not both be counted for graduate credit, a student may take 598 as an undergraduate student and 698 as a graduate student in English. Note: By mid-August, prospective students must submit a portfolio of their own work for evaluation before consent to register for this course will be given. Details of this procedure are available from the Department of English.
