2. Admission Requirements

In addition to the Faculty of Graduate Studies’ admission requirements, all applicants must meet the following requirement:

  • A Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent from a recognized/accredited post-secondary institution.
Admission Deposit

Successful applicants will be required to confirm their acceptance of an offer of admission into a Graduate Certificate program with an online non-refundable deposit of $500.

The deposit will be credited toward tuition fees upon registration.

4. Advanced Credit

No advanced credit will be considered.

5. Course Requirements

Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics

The certificate requires 12 units of coursework consisting of:

  1. Business Technology Management 631
  2. Business Technology Management 635
  3. Business Technology Management 636
  4. Business Technology Management 637

Graduate Certificate in Management Analytics

The certificate requires 12 units of coursework consisting of two core and two elective courses as listed below.

Core courses:

  1. Operations Management 631
  2. Business Technology Management 636

Two from the following elective courses:

  1. Marketing 631
  2. Management Studies 631
  3. Supply Chain Management 631
  4. Strategy and Global Management 631
  5. Finance 631
Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade)

Students admitted to a graduate certificate program will not be allowed to request the Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade) for any course that is applicable to their certificate; or apply any course awarded a grade of CG towards their graduation requirements.

Students may not choose the CG grade for a course taken extra to load.

The use of the CG grade will not affect students' eligibility for internal awards.
6. Time Limit

The expected completion time for the graduate certificates is 8 months. The maximum completion time is 3 years.

7. Financial Assistance

No financial assistance is available for the graduate certificate programs.
