Intercultural Conflict Styles
The way we experience the world and act in it is largely shaped by what we learn and internalize from the groups and cultures we belong to. Many of the irritants and annoyances that we experience in conflict reflect our own culturally learned assumptions and values about what a 鈥済ood鈥 conflict management and communication style is. This workshop aims to help students develop awareness of unique intercultural conflict styles and adopt culturally responsive strategies when communicating during conflict.
This workshop is available as a one-hour recording. If you would like access to the recordings to complete the workshop, please reach out to bystander@ucalgary.ca.
