What is the University Entrance Program?

UCalgary University Entrance Programs (UEP) are a starting point for students who wish to complete an undergraduate degree.

There are two UEPs available:

  • UEP Arts – ideal for students seeking admission to a Faculty of Arts undergraduate degree program
  • UEP Science – ideal for students seeking admission to a Faculty of Science undergraduate degree program

UEP students complete courses in Open Studies and then apply to the undergraduate degree program(s) of their choice. Grades achieved during the UEP can be used toward a transfer student application for undergraduate admission.Ìý
