Costs
Exchange students pay their tuition and academic fees to the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. Other expenses are paid directly to the service provider.Ìý
FGV estimates that living expenses will range from 1,300 -1,500 USD per month. Also, remember to include things like visas, insurance, vaccinations etc in your budget planning.

Since you remain a degree seeking student at UCalgary while on exchange you remain eligible for anyÌýÌýyou are eligible to receive from the university as well asÌý.Our office administers several awards, including the Global Access Fund (based on a funding-first model where students apply prior to committing to a global learning program) and the (students apply after being accepted to a global learning program; the amount varies year-to-year as the money is split among chosen recipients). Students may only receive these awards once. Please see the funding page, linked below, for more information.
Fundação Getulio Vargas does not have its own housing (residences). Therefore, out-of-town and international students need to seek private accommodation. Although staff at the InternationalÌýOffice is not able to find private accommodation on students’ behalf and is not responsible for theÌýbelow websites, it might be helpful to start looking at:

This exchange is open to regular, full-time students in any faculty at the U of C, who have completed at least 1 full year (10 courses) at the post-secondary level, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (B-).
An intermediate level of Portuguese language (B1) is required, as the language of instruction is Portuguese.

Dress Code
Fundação Getulio Vargas has a very strict dress code. People wearing short skirts, shorts and/or flip-flops will be denied access to the building. Students who fail to comply with this regulation will not be allowed entry into the building under any circumstances.
