Biography
Varada is currently an Ph.D student in the Energy Bioengineering Group under the supervision of Dr. Marc Strous. She received her B.Sc in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Environment from Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà in 2016. She worked in industry as a process engineer for 2 years before returning to graduate studies. Varada's Ph.D research goals are to understand the role of viruses in engineered microbial communities with the use of metagenomics and bioinformatics techniques.
