The Faculty of Kinesiology offers four-year professional and disciplinary programs leading to degrees in the following areas:
1. Bachelor of Kinesiology (General)
2. Bachelor of Kinesiology (Athletic Therapy)
3. Bachelor of Kinesiology (Biomechanics)
4. Bachelor of Kinesiology (Exercise and Health Physiology)
5. Bachelor of Kinesiology (Mind Sciences in Kinesiology)
6. Bachelor of Kinesiology (Leadership in Pedagogy and Coaching)
7. Bachelor of Science (Biomechanics)
8. Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Health Physiology)
9. Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology)
10. Bachelor of Science (Mind Sciences in Kinesiology)
Students may declare only one Major.
Honours programs are offered in all Majors.
Students who are preparing to teach in either the elementary or secondary school system should enroll in the Bachelor of Kinesiology (Leadership in Pedagogy and Coaching, Pedagogy concentration) degree program.
The Faculty of Kinesiology offers a five-year combined Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Kinesiology (General) with the Haskayne School of Business, a five-year combined Bachelor of Kinesiology (Leadership in Pedagogy and Coaching)/Bachelor of Education (Master of Teaching Program) in Physical Education with the Faculty of Education, and until Fall 2009 a five-year combined Bachelor of Kinesiology (General)/Bachelor of Nursing with the Faculty of Nursing. No other combined degree programs are available with Kinesiology degrees.
The Faculty of Kinesiology collaborates with the Faculty of Medicine to offer a Minor in Adapted and Therapeutic Physical Activity for students in Kinesiology. Detailed requirements are listed in the Faculty of Medicine section of this Calendar.
