Smoking Reduction Policy

With its Smoking Reduction Policy, the University strives to provide a safe and healthy work, learning and living environment for all staff, faculty, students and visitors. As a champion of health and wellness, the University believes that a reduction in smoking on campus is beneficial to all. Smoking is not permitted indoors nor within five metres of building entrances and air intake vents. As of January 1, 2009, tobacco product sales have been prohibited on campus in compliance with provincial legislation, the Alberta Tobacco Reduction Act. Please respect everyone's right to clean air and a healthy environment. See the Smoking Reduction Policy at the following website for details: .
