A.ÌýFACULTY OF ARTS REQUIREMENTS
Students must adhere to the applicable Faculty of Arts requirements in 3.4 Graduation.
B.ÌýMAJOR-FIELD WITH HONOURS REQUIREMENTS
Students must successfully complete a minimum of 9.5 and a maximum of 12.0 full-course equivalents in the Field of Psychology while fulfilling the following requirements:
1.ÌýIntroduction: Psychology 205.
2.ÌýResearch Methods and Statistics: Psychology 312.
3.ÌýFoundation Courses: Psychology 351 or 353, 365, 369, 375, and 345 or 383 or 385.
4.ÌýHistory of Psychology: Psychology 305 or 405. Psychology 405 can also be applied to fulfill the requirements listed in 8 below.
5.ÌýAdvanced Research Methods: one of Psychology 407, 411, or 415. The course used to satisfy this requirement cannot be used toward requirement 8.
6.ÌýHonours Seminar: Psychology 501, which must be completed during the final year. This course cannot be used toward requirement 8.
7.ÌýHonours Thesis and Seminar: Psychology 598, which must be completed during the final year. This course cannot be used toward Requirement 8.
8.ÌýUpper-Level Courses: At least three full-course equivalents at the 400 or 500 level from the Field of Psychology in addition to those used to fulfill requirements 5-7.

9.ÌýLaboratory Component: Of the courses used to fulfill requirement 8, at least 1.0 full-course equivalents must have a laboratory components. Students who complete more than one of Psychology 407, 411 and 415 may apply only one half-course equivalent to toward this requirement.
C.ÌýOTHER REQUIREMENTS
Science Courses: Biology 241 and 243; Chemistry 201 or 211 and 203 or 213; Mathematics 249 or 251 or 281 and one of 211, 213, 253, 283; and Physics 211 or 221 or 271.
