Students in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science Co-operative Education programs normally apply to Co-operative Education in the second year of their program. Applications to the Haskayne Co-op Program are accepted twice a year - on May 1st and December 1st. Direct entry students normally apply during their second year of the BComm Program; change of program and transfer students apply by May 1st of the year that they apply to the business school, normally the end of their second year. Students in Schulich School of Engineering (applications accepted by October 1st) and Computer Science (applications accepted by May 1st and October 1st) Internship programs apply in third year. All students in the Faculties of Arts and Science (Ecology, Applied Chemistry and Actuarial Science) can apply during their second year by May 1st and December 1st. Students in the Faculty of Arts apply by May 1st and December 1st directly to the Arts Co-op office.
Students should be aware that the Career Development Workshop or equivalent is a requirement for admission. For the Faculty of Arts the pre-employment workshops are held after admission to the program.
