The Faculty of Environmental Design offers a Master of Architecture, a thesis-based Master of Environmental Design, and a course-based Master of Planning.
Master of Architecture is a course-based first professional degree at the graduate level. The degree is accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board; the thesis-based Master of Environmental Design is a research degree involving complex problem solving and design intervention related to biosocial systems dynamics and human activity interactions with the built and natural environments; the Master of Planning is a two-year (four-semester) course-based graduate planning program with an emphasis on sustainability, interdisciplinarity and design.
PhD degree in Environmental Design involves interdisciplinary research inquiry in thematic areas related to Architecture and Sustainable Design involving planning, urban design, industrial design and environmental science.
