1.0 FCE - Science options: same as for Geology Major program (also, see Notes)
1.0 FCE - Options (Science options are recommended - see Notes)
3.5 FCE – Breadth requirement: Non-science options (see Notes)
Notes:
- The Major program may contain a maximum of 10 FCE in the field of Geology, and the Honours program may contain a maximum of 12 FCE in the field of Geology.
- In order to meet the academic requirements for registration with APEGA, 1.0 FCE from the Science Options and/or the Options must be chosen from one or more of biology, chemistry (0.5 FCE maximum), computer science, physics (0.5 FCE maximum), or statistics.
- These 3.5 FCE and Science 311 form the 4.0 FCE non-science course requirements selected from Faculties other than the Faculty of Science (see Table I, 3.4. Program Requirements for courses that may not be used to satisfy this requirement). Of these 4.0 FCE, students must take at least 1.0 FCE from the Faculty of Arts (see (d) Breadth requirement in 3.4 Program Requirements.
