The designation "Choreography and Performance Concentration" will appear on the transcripts of students of Dance Majors who successfully audition prior to beginning their third year and complete the program of study below. The Concentration requires an additional 27 units (4.5 full-course equivalents) from the Field of Dance and results in an overall program with from 93 to 99 units (15.5 to 16.5 full-course equivalents) from the Field of Dance.
Students are required to take the following courses, which will replace some of the open options or a maximum of 6 units (1.0 full-course equivalent) of Arts/Science/Kinesiology options in their program:

Core: Dance 395, 397, 431, 433, 505, 507, 531.

Jazz or Ballet: Either Dance 411 and 413, or Dance 421 and 423 without exception.
