The Minor in Film Studies is regulated by the section of the Faculty of Arts Graduation Requirements entitled 3.4.3 Minor Fields. Students must successfully complete at least 30 units (5.0 full-course equivalents) and not more than 36 units (6.0 full-course equivalents) from the Field of Film Studies. The Film Studies Minor also requires:
- 6 units (1.0 full-course equivalent) from Film 201 and 321.
- 3 units (0.5 full-course equivalent) from either Film 331 or 333.
- An additional 15 units (2.5 full-course equivalents) from courses labelled Film of which 6 units (1.0 full-course equivalent) must be at the 400 or 500 level.
- An additional 6 units (1.0 full-course equivalent)Â from within the Field of Film Studies excluding Communication and Culture 501 and 503.
