A. FACULTY OF ARTS REQUIREMENTS
Students must adhere to the applicable Faculty of Arts requirements in 3.3.2 Honours Degrees.
B. MAJOR-FIELD WITH HONOURS REQUIREMENTS
BSc students must successfully complete a minimum of 54 units and a maximum of 72 units in Courses Constituting the Field of Archaeology while fulfilling the following requirements:

Regional Archaeology: 9 units from Archaeology 303, 317, 321, 335, 341, 343, 353, 357, 395, 401, 423, 437, 439, 455, 537.

Archaeological Techniques: 6 units from Archaeology 306*, 415, 417, 453, 471, 506, 515, 555, Geography 412.
*Archaeology 306 counts as 3 units for the Archaeological Techniques requirement. The remaining 3 units count towards partial fulfillment of the Archaeology Options requirement.

Traditional Knowledge: 6 units from Archaeology 307, 345, 355, 357, 399, 419, Anthropology 317, 319, 321, 329, 355.

Archaeology Options: At least 12 units from Courses Constituting the Field of Archaeology.

Honours Thesis: 6 units Archaeology 590.

1. Natural Science Emphasis: Inclusive of the courses used to fulfill requirements B. 1–6 above, students must include in their degree a minimum of 48 units from the Courses with a Natural-Science Emphasis.
