Students must successfully complete a minimum of 60 units to a maximum of 78 units in Courses Constituting the Field of Mathematics while fulfilling the following requirements:
6 units - Mathematics 211 or 213; Mathematics 311 or 313
6 units - Mathematics 249 or 265 or 275; Mathematics 267 or 277
3 units - Mathematics 271 or 273
3 units - Computer Science 231 or 217 or Data Science 211
6 units - Any two courses from the following list
21 units - Additional courses from the Field of Mathematics at the 300 level or above
9 units - Additional courses from the Field of Mathematics at the 400 level or above
6 units - Additional courses from the Field of Mathematics at the 500 level or above
3 units - Mathematics 518 (with a grade of 鈥淏鈥 or higher)2
18 units - Breadth Requirement: Options from Faculties other than the Faculty of Science, excluding courses in Table I. Of these 18 units, at least 6 units must be from the Faculty of Arts. Science 311 may be counted among the 18 units from other Faculties.
21 units - Non-Major Field Requirement: Options outside of the Field of Mathematics

1Statistics 321 and 323 are required for many Statistics courses at the 400 level or higher and are also required for the Concentrations in Statistics, Computational Applied Mathematics, and Mathematical Finance and Risk Management.
2A grade of "B" or higher in Mathematics 518 is required for the Honours program. Students who do not achieve a grade of "B" or higher in Mathematics 518 may still graduate from the regular BSc in Mathematics.
