Students must:
- Be registered as a full-time student.
- Be registered in a faculty/program offering Co-operative Education/Internship programs.
- Be legally permitted to work in Canada. International students must obtain a Co-operative Work Permit to be eligible for work placements.
- Obtain the required permits if they choose to pursue a placement in a country other than Canada.
- Meet faculty/program GPA and course entrance requirements.
- Complete the Career Development Workshop or equivalent Faculty-specific preparatory session(s),
- Attend a personal interview to determine admissibility, if required by their faculty.
Students applying to Co-operative Education/Internship should also be aware of the following:
1. Students in combined degree programs are eligible for Co-operative Education/Internship programs in one of the degree programs.
2. The University reserves the right to refuse admission to a Co-operative Education/Internship program on academic or other grounds.
3. Transfer students from other universities may be considered for admission to the Co-operative Education/Internship program. Please refer to the faculty section for additional details. All transfer students are advised to complete one academic term at the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà prior to a work term.
