Bachelor of Nursing Program
The Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà offers an innovative Bachelor of Nursing degree to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of a nursing career in a changing health-care system. Throughout the program, students are provided with a sound theoretical base and supervised practice experience in a variety of nursing settings. Three BN routes are available: a four-year route for high school students, a two and one-half year route for transfer students and a two-year route for degree holders.
Note: Students enrolled at the Calgary Campus, who wish to transfer to the UC-Qatar Campus, Medicine Hat College or other off-site locations, must apply for admission at the desired site. Admission will be based on the student's grade point average and the availability of seats.
Bachelor of Nursing Program at Medicine Hat College Site
The Bachelor of Nursing program at Medicine Hat College is a partnership program offered entirely at the Medicine Hat College site, allowing students in the Medicine Hat area increased access to a baccalaureate program without having to relocate.
Note: Students enrolled at the Medicine Hat College Site, who wish to transfer to the Calgary Campus, must apply to the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Bachelor of Nursing Direct Entry Route. Only applicants with extenuating circumstances will be considered. Requests will be reviewed by the Associate Dean Undergraduate Programs (or designate) on a competitive basis considering the student's cumulative grade point average and space available at the level/year that the student wishes to transfer into. Additional supporting documentation is required as outlined in Nursing Faculty Regulations 3.1 Attendance in a Prior Nursing Program.
Bachelor of Nursing Program at Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Qatar Campus

Note: Applications to this program are currently suspended. No new admissions will be permitted.
Students enrolled at the Qatar Campus, who wish to transfer to the Calgary Campus, must apply to the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Bachelor of Nursing Degree Program. Admission will be based on case-by-case appraisal of student circumstance as well as the student's grade point average and the availability of seats. Due to the differences in courses and curriculum, transferability may be limited.
Bachelor of Nursing Program - Rural Community
The Bachelor of Nursing Program Rural Community is a partnership program offered entirely remotely, allowing students residing in designated rural communities in Alberta increased access to a baccalaureate program without having to relocate.
Note: Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing program in a rural community partnership who wish to transfer to the Calgary Campus, must apply through a change of program to the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. Only applicants with extenuating circumstances will be considered. Bachelor of Nursing requests will be reviewed by the Associate Dean Undergraduate Programs (or designate) on a competitive basis considering the student's cumulative grade point average and space available at the level/year that the student wishes to transfer into. Bachelor of Nursing Program - Indigenous Community Entry Route for the Siksika Nation Pilot
The Bachelor of Nursing Program Indigenous Community Entry Route for the Siksika Nation is offered as a pilot program with Siksika Nation and Old Sun College. Indigenous students can complete upgrading of the admission requirements at Old Sun College prior to entering year one of the Bachelor of Nursing Program. The program is offered in the community of Siksika Nation and surrounding areas using both online and in-person components, allowing students residing within 120 kms of Siksika Nation increased access to a baccalaureate program without having to relocate.
