The Centre for Community-Engaged Learning is a division of Student Services that supports curricular and co-curricular service-learning programs. The CCEL supports studentsâ€™ learning and leadership development and encourages life-long community engagement through projects and partnerships with the non-profit sector. The CCEL offers:

ucalgarycares programs, co-curricular service-learning programs ranging from a few hours to a few weeks
Immersion service-learning programs over Reading Week or the Spring/Summer Term in places such as Calgary, New Orleans, and rural Costa Rica
Projects and campaigns on food security through Meal Exchange
Senior leadership experiences through the Peer Helper Program
Support to faculty developing service-learning courses
A place of contact for community organizations
