  • Keep head up
  • Aways facing partner
  • Maintain a strong neck and ringette stance

  • Passer performs a shoulder check after each pass and calls out the number of fingers held up by a coach
  • Going too fast
    • Cue "Stay in control"
  • Making too many passes
    • Cue "Look back after each pass"
  • Passer turning full body to see coach
    • Cue "Keep body square, shoulder check"
  • Hockey-specific drill that increases heart and breathing rates
  • Encourages movement with head up
  • Practices a non-linear skating pattern while challenging coordination
