  • Athlete opens up with leading foot, second foot crosses over with toe pointing forward
  • Arms swing backwards from the elbow before driving upwards in blocking motion 
  • Soft bend at knees and hips
  • Knees stacked over ankle
  • Finishing block movement with toes point outward
    • Cue “Toes square to netâ€
  • Lazy arms
    • Cue “Press over the netâ€
  • Knee caving in on change of direction
    • Cue “Knee over pinky toeâ€
  • Increases heart and breathing rates
  • Practices in games movements at a slower pace to improve technique
  • Practices safe, soft landing
