Kenya-Jade has helped set policies to guide the direction of the university and provided important insight about the student experience.

As the Students’ Union Vice-President Academic, Kenya-Jade has helped set policies to guide the direction of the university and provided important insight about the student experience. She has also contributed to students’ co-curricular experiences and helped develop the Women in Leadership Club. Kenya-Jade served as Acting Ombudsperson for undergraduate students in fall 2012. As a student spokesperson for Terry’s cause on campus, she shaved her head for cancer research and volunteers as a photographer for AIDS Calgary. These activities highlight her leadership and commitment to the University and community.
