TheÌýInjuryÌýSurveillance inÌýHigh Schools toÌýREDuce Concussions (SHRed)Ìýresearch study was funded to $12 million by the National Football League's (NFL) Scientific Advisory Board to better understand how commonÌýconcussionsÌýare in high school athletes. This a 3-year longitudinal cohort study to evaluate concussion diagnostic tools, prognostic indicators, and prevention and management strategies among high school-aged youth athletes.ÌýÌýSHRedÌýbringsÌýtheÌýimplementation and evaluation of injury prevention strategies to the school setting and willÌýincrease the public health impact of our research.ÌýThis study combines a large team of expert researchers and clinicians across 9 institutions inÌý5 provinces.Ìý
