Important note:Â Semester one students (fall semester only) are not allowed to take computer science, math or statistics classes as the exams are written in April/May. Students attending for the academic year or semester two (winter) are not affected.
Course Information:
Glasgow prefers students take a full course load of 60 Glasgow points (or 30 ECTS credits) per semester. One UCalgary half course equivalent = 12 Glasgow points (or 6 ECTS credits). Course information can be found in their online  and on department websites. Please read the .Ìý

Costs
Exchange students pay their tuition and academic fees to the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ. Other expenses are paid directly to the service provider.

Funding
Did you know that you can take your Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà funding with you on exchange? Since you remain a degree seeking student at the UCalgary while on exchange you remain eligible for any  you are eligible to receive from the university as well as .
Our office administers several awards, including the Global Access Fund (based on a funding-first model where students apply prior to committing to a global learning program) and the (students apply after being accepted to a global learning program; the amount varies year-to-year as the money is split among chosen recipients). Students may only receive these awards once. Please see the funding page, linked below, for more information.Ìý
Accommodation at the University of Glasgow is primarily in  and is no longer guaranteed for exchange students (rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis and students are encouraged to apply as early as possible). Residential Services also provides assistance to students looking for private off-campus accommodation.
This exchange is open to regular, full-time students in any faculty at the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ, who have completed at least 1 full year (10 courses) at the post-secondary level, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0(B).
Students apply to UCalgary first, then we nominate accepted students who have met the minimum requirements to our partners. Once you have been nominated to Glasgow, you will then apply directly to their exchange program. For more details on Glasgow's application click .
