Catalyzing Research & Intercultural Practices with Newcomers

In a world currently witnessing unprecedented movement of people, goods and ideas across geopolitical, cultural and linguistic borders, the successful integration of newcomers across societies is an issue of global importance.

The Newcomer Research Network advances and advocates for research that informs intercultural practices supporting newcomers, across the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ, the surrounding communities, nationally and internationally through interdisciplinary collaborative partnerships. Our approach enhances research efforts not only among network team members at UCalgary, but also through engagement with community partners including settlement and advocacy agencies.
