The Leadership in Focus speaker series is designed to elevate academic leadership skills and equip participants the ability to navigate today's educational challenges with confidence and insight. The program features subject matter experts who will share their extensive knowledge and experiences in the realm of academic leadership.

Each session delves into critical aspects of academic leadership, providing you with practical strategies and innovative ideas and opportunity to connect with fellow leaders, gain new perspectives, and strengthen your ability to lead with excellence in the ever-evolving landscape of academia.

Essentials of Change Leadership for Academic Leaders

Explore practical strategies for leading your team through change. Through engaging case studies, group activities, and discussions, you will gain valuable insights and practical tools to support your team in successfully implementing organizational changes with skill, empathy, and confidence. As part of the course, participants will explore: 

  • Understand the Psychology of Change: Delve into the psychological aspects of change and how this can elicit a range of responses to change.
  • Apply Change Management Frameworks: Utilize proven tools to prepare your team for a smooth and effective transition.
  • Communicate Change Effectively: Learn how to effectively communicate change and actively engage your team throughout the transition process.
