Summary of Changes
Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Calendar 2009-2010 Faculty of Education 6. Applied Psychology 6.2 Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling
6.2 Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling

The 18-credit (6 half courses), Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling program focuses on the fundamentals of counselling and has a similar structure to the Stage I of the Master's program. The Certificate is designed for students who either do not want to complete a full Master's degree or who do not meet the admissions criteria for the Master's program and plan to apply to ladder into that program upon completion of the Certificate.

Program Design The program has been designed to be completed in 1.5 years. This completion rate is considered full-time study at four courses per year. However, you may choose to complete the program more quickly or to extend it over a longer period of time (up to 2 years). Be prepared to plan ahead to ensure course availability and be sure to have any changes to the normal program plan approved by your academic advisor. Students in the Post-Graduate Certificate program start in the Fall Term of each year.
Admission Program Application is December 15 of each year.  Please see the Division of Applied Psychology website for more information:
