B.ÌýMAJOR-FIELD WITH HONOURS REQUIREMENTS

Students must successfully complete nine to 12 full-course equivalents in the Field of Communications Studies and fulfill the following requirements:
1.ÌýCore Courses: Communications Studies 201, 369, 371, 381, 591: General Studies 300, 313 and 500
2.ÌýTopics Courses: 2.0 full-course equivalents from Communications Studies 401, 407, 435, 463, 469, 471, 473, 475, 481, 501, 503, 505; and Science, Technology and Society 341, 421.
3.ÌýCommunications Studies Options: An additional 1.0 full-course equivalents chosen from the Field of Communications Studies (excluding Communications Studies 361 and 580).
4.ÌýUndergraduate Thesis: General Studies 590.
C.ÌýOTHER REQUIREMENTS

Intercultural Requirement to be fulfilled in one of the followingÌýtwoÌýways:
(a)ÌýSuccessful completion of at least 1.0 full-course equivalents from an approved post-secondary Term Abroad, Group Travel Study or Individual Travel Study program.Ìý See the Centre for International Students and Study Abroad for programs that are currently offered.
OR
(b)ÌýSuccessful completion of 2.0 full-course equivalents from the Domain of Intercultural Courses (see SectionÌý3.2.18.)
