A. FACULTY OF ARTS REQUIREMENTS
Students must adhere to the applicable Faculty of Arts requirements in 3.4 Graduation.
B. MAJOR-FIELD WITH HONOURS REQUIREMENTS
Students must successfully complete a minimum of 9.0 and a maximum of 12.0 full-course equivalents in the Field of Political Science while fulfilling the following requirements:
1.ÌýIntroduction: 1.0 full-course equivalents in Political Science at the 200 level.
2.ÌýCanadian Politics: Political Science 321.
3.ÌýBreadth in Political Science: 6.0 full course equivalents from the Field of Political Science, which must include all four of the following:
(²¹)ÌýPolitical Science 310.
(²ú)ÌýPolitical Science 359 and an additional 0.5 full-course equivalents in "Comparative Politics" (see the categories of courses in the Field of Political Science)Â at the 300 level or above.
(³¦)ÌýPolitical Science 381 and an additional 0.5 full-course equivalents in "International Relations" (see the categories of courses in the Field of Political Science) at the 300 level or above.
(»å)ÌýPolitical Science 399.
4.ÌýHonours Seminar and Thesis: Political Science 499 and 500.
5.ÌýAdvanced-Level Political Science: Inclusive of the courses used to fulfill requirements 3 and 4 above, at least 2.0 full-course equivalents must be at the 400 level or above.
C. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Language: 1.0 full-course equivalents in a Language other than English or the equivalent.

Note: At the end of the fourth year, students will be required to take an oral examination of one hour on the Honours thesis.
