The Minor in Philosophy is regulated by the section of the Faculty of Arts Graduation Requirements entitled 3.4.3 Minor Fields.
Students must successfully complete at least 30 units (5.0 full-course equivalents) and not more than 36 units (6.0 full-course equivalents) from the Field of Philosophy with at least 18 units (3.0 full-course equivalents) at the 300 level or above.
The study of Philosophy can deepen and enrich understanding of a variety of other disciplines. The courses to be included in a Minor will vary from student to student, so it is important that students seek advice from the Department. The Department of Philosophy website provides a list of Philosophy courses that support other Majors, which students might choose to include in a Minor in Philosophy.
