4.2 Minor Programs/Embedded Certificates

Students may declare a Minor by requesting a Change of Program through their . Students may complete up to one Minor.

To earn a Minor, students must complete at least 30 units and no more than 36 units from the relevant Field of Study, including the requirements specified in the program details of the particular Minor. See Minor Programs.

The Architectural Studies Minor is available only to students who are not in the Bachelor of Design in City Innovation program.

Students may declare an Embedded Certificate by requesting a Change of Program through the Student Centre. Students may complete up to one Embedded Certificate. See Embedded Certificates.

Because the Bachelor of Design in City Innovation program with either the Architecture or Landscape Architecture Concentration is highly structured, more than 120 units may be required when incorporating an additional a Minor and/or Certificate. Students are cautioned to check the Calendar descriptions of the courses required for the Minor/Certificate and to include the necessary prerequisites for these courses in their programs. For admissions requirements and guidance on a specific Minor/Certificate, please contact the relevant School or Faculty for additional support.
