Biography

Psalm 121

Amanda is an undergraduate student at the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Digital Engineering.

After being actively involved in High School, Amanda knew she wanted to continue to do so and make a difference in any way she could: being especially interested in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity. Thus throughout her undergraduate journey, she has gone on to be involved in different ventures, from research into engineering pedagogy to various extracurricular activities with an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity focus such as executive roles in the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), Uddering Engineers and the Children's Cottage UCalgary. She recently registered a Podcast Club on Campus, Uddering Engineers, and supported the founding and launch of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) UCalgary Chapter.
