16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence
16 Days of Activism is a global campaign dedicated to ending gender-based violence.
The campaign uses the daysÌýbetween International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women (Nov. 25)Ìýand International Human Rights Day (Dec. 10)Ìýto reinforce thatÌýviolence against women, girls, gender non-binary people and the LGBTQ+ community is a human rights violation.
Every year, the Women’s Resource Centre adopts the 16 Days of Activism campaign to focus on gender-based violence, and what individuals can do to prevent it.
Past events:
In previous years, the WRC has hosted events on topics including sex work, rethinking violence prevention work, the impact of armed conflict on women and pathways to healing.Ìý

Candle Sale - Purchase candles by or dropping by our space Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Candles in Evergreen, Honey, Burgundy, and Plum will be sold individually for $4 or $8/pair.
