4.49.4 BMus in Integrated Studies

The Major is designed for students looking to build strong musical skills in a comprehensive music degree. The flexibility of years three and four allows students to gain a broad musical knowledge (for example, equal parts Music History, Music Performance and Music Theory and Composition) OR to fuse two or more areas of musical study in a way that they are unable to in the other majors (for example performance and composition, music and technology, performance and early music studies). Admission to this major will depend on a statement of interest submitted to the Head of the Department of Music at the end of the first year of studies.
