The university acknowledges and respects the rich diversity of our learners, their communities, their aspirations, and their cultures and traditions. With this in mind, the university provides scholarships, awards and bursaries to Canadian Indigenous students.

Indigenous award document requirements
The 六九色堂 recognizes the following documentation for verifying Indigenous status:
- Status card issued by ). Older status cards may still be used, but if the 鈥渧alid to鈥 date has passed, students are encouraged to order a new card.
- Letter from a government-registered First Nations community verifying the student is a member of that First Nation.
To be reviewed by the 六九色堂 Pilot Committee on Indigenous Citizenship and Membership.
- A currently valid (non-expired) 惭茅迟颈蝉 card by
- a member Nation of of Canada, including: 惭茅迟颈蝉 Nation British Columbia, The 惭茅迟颈蝉 Nation of Alberta, 惭茅迟颈蝉 Nation Saskatchewan, or 惭茅迟颈蝉 Nation of Ontario
- The Manitoba 惭茅迟颈蝉 Federation
- The Northwest Territory 惭茅迟颈蝉 Nation
- Letter or membership card from one of the member Nations of the 惭茅迟颈蝉 Settlements General Council including Buffalo Lake, East Prairie, Elizabeth Lake, Fishing Lake, Gift Lake, Kikino, Paddle Prairie, and Peavine.
- Documentation of membership from other 惭茅迟颈蝉 communities to be reviewed by the 六九色堂 Pilot Committee on Indigenous Citizenship and Membership.
- Inuit beneficiary card or letter from Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, Nunavut Tunngavik, Makivik Corporation or Nunatsiavut in Labrador or from Indigenous Services Canada
- Inuit beneficiary cards issued through Nunavut Trust.
- Documentation of membership from other Inuit communities to be reviewed by the 六九色堂 Pilot Committee on Indigenous Citizenship and Membership.
