Aspire: For Students Interested in Scholarships, Graduate School, and Professional School
Aspire is a community to help students learn about scholarships and prepare themselves for applications to graduate or professional school.
The core features of Aspire are a monthly email newsletter and D2L that inform students of upcoming deadlines and opportunities. Aspire will keep you informed about supports, workshops, and opportunities that can help you achieve your goals for your time at UCalgary and after graduation.
Upcoming events
One-on-one Advising for applications to scholarships, graduate school, or professional school
Get support on your applications with the help of the Student Success Centre’s Academic Support team. Advisors can review your scholarship or graduate school applications, help you prepare for medical school interviews, and talk about strategies and plans for you to achieve your goals at UCalgary and after graduation.
Professional Development Workshops
Learn how to put together a great application for scholarships or graduate school by attending a Student Success Centre workshop. Workshops will help you develop an effective academic CV, write a personal statement, and ask for reference letters.
